Laid all the carpet into place...to let it relax/form this week
Love love love the 'correct' darker blue color and weave
Replaced the glovebox liner and striker plate (with correct "P")
"P" stamping
Striker plate back on
Clean
Rain hood shield is now correct
Outside hood grill back on
Radiator rubber cover needed replacing
New one in place
Also needed the correct large washers
Lookin' good
Don't ask. ; ) Had to file down the headlight bezel screws (and put the correct black finish on them)
Done.
At some point, the spark plug insulators had been hit with orange overspray. Bigger job than you may think on a big block car with A/C
All cleaned up.
Oil dipstick tube had also been hit with orange overspray. Removed and cleaned.
#7 Plug was a pain getting off. And then we noticed it was filled w/corrosion.
Even corrosion on the tip of the plug. We cleaned it up and lubed w/some dielectric grease
And major carbon build-up on that plug. Probably from when it was running too rich.
More shield clean-up. Thanks CLR!
