Sunday 8/26 - Thumper Complete!

Completed the alignment w/Robert's alignment tool

Camber settings checked.  For Caster, turn the wheel 15 degrees

We drove Thumper to the gas station, checked the alignment feel, and put 7 gallons in.

We added grease to the end of the Power Steering control valve.

Replaced the end cap.

All set.

We took out again, for another test drive.  Got it hot, brought it home. Double checked that all 4 Knock-off's were tight.

Double checked the automatic transmission fluid.  All fluids are topped off and good-to-go!  No Leaks.

Power Steering components installed

New control valve installed

See the rust?  This is the NEW cylinder we got from Paragon.  Ridiculous.  Went to Corvette Clinic and bought one from them...we'll return this one.

The new cylinder was unpainted...so we did a quick shot of semi-gloss black.

Cylinder installed.

Wheels re-balanced, re-mounted, and Inventory of Vince's parts...

Jerry & I picked up the wheels from Skip's Tire

Let's get those wheels on!

Done deal!

How many jacks & stands does it take to have all 4 wheels off the ground?  Lots.

These guys came through. The slow leak on the driver's front, was turned into the spare. They removed that tire, replaced the valve stem and resealed the tire bead.
